gairė

← Use cases

Hear about the car you're after when it's listed.

For a buyer who's patient about the right car: a rare spec, one model and year, a price you won't go above. Save the search on a car listings site with your filters, sorted newest first, and paste its address. Gairė checks it and writes when a new listing appears.

Nothing starts until you say yes on the next screen.

How it works

  1. Search the listings site with your filters, sorted newest first, and copy the address of the results.
  2. Paste it here. The next screen shows the listings Gairė found before anything is saved.
  3. Choose where it reaches you: email, text, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack or Discord. Gairė checks once an hour on a free account. Up to 5 searches every 15 minutes with Plus.

What it doesn't do

It reads the first page of one search, so a search that's too wide fills that page and new listings get lost: narrow it with your filters. It reads what the results show for each car, its title and price, not the listing's photos or full description. It doesn't contact sellers, it can't read a search behind a sign-in, and it won't beat a dealer to a bargain.

Questions

Is it fast enough for a bargain?
No, and we'd rather say so. A cheap car that a dealer wants goes in minutes. This is for the car you'll wait weeks for, where hearing the same day is what matters.
Does it read every page of results?
No, the first page only. That's why the search should be sorted newest first, so a new listing lands where Gairė looks.
Will it tell me when a listed car gets cheaper?
Yes, if you choose it. Besides new listings, you can be told when the price of a car already on the list goes down or up.
Which sites can it read?
Public search results that anyone can open without signing in. Paste one, and the next screen shows what it found before anything is saved.
How fast will I know?
A free account checks each page once an hour (every two hours from midnight to 6:00 Vilnius time). With Plus, up to 5 pages can be on Fast: every 15 minutes, day and night. After an alert about a page, the next alert about the same page comes no sooner than 30 minutes later.
