Know what your competitors change, the day they change it.
Competitor monitoring for a small online shop. Pick the competitor pages that matter (the products you both sell, the first page of their categories), and Gairė checks them for you. It writes by email, text or chat app when a price moves, a product sells out or comes back, or a new product appears.
Alerts look like this:

How it works
- Paste a competitor's page. Use a product you both sell, or the first page of one of their categories. The next screen shows what Gairė reads (names, prices, in stock or not) before anything is saved.
- Choose where it reaches you: email, text, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack or Discord.
- Gairė checks and writes when something changes. Once an hour on a free account. Up to 5 pages every 15 minutes with Plus.
What to watch
- Your best sellers, at your closest rival. Their price and whether they have it in stock. A rival who sells out of a product you carry is a reason to hold your price, or to advertise it.
- The first page of their category. When a new product shows up on it, you see what they've added to their range. One watch reads one page, so pick the page their shop shows first.
- Their sale page, in a sale week. Prices move daily around Black Friday. Put those pages on Fast for the week, then back.
- How many to start with: five to ten pages tell you most of what matters. The free account watches 10.
What it doesn't do
One watch is one page, so thirty products are thirty watches. Gairė doesn't match your products to theirs, doesn't change your prices, and doesn't read a whole category: a watch on a category reads one page of it. If you need thousands of products compared every day, this isn't the tool.
Questions
- What is competitor monitoring for an online shop?
- Keeping track of what rival shops change: their prices, what they have in stock, and what they add to their range. You then decide your own price and offers with the facts in front of you, not a week later.
- Which competitor pages can Gairė read?
- Product pages and list pages of online shops: the price, whether the product is in stock, and the items on the first page of a list. Other pages can be tried: the next screen shows what Gairė found before anything is saved. It can't read pages behind a sign-in.
- How fast will I know?
- A free account checks each page once an hour (every two hours from midnight to 6:00 Vilnius time). With Plus, up to 5 pages can be on Fast: every 15 minutes, day and night. After an alert about a page, the next alert about the same page comes no sooner than 30 minutes later.
- Can it follow a competitor's whole catalogue?
- No. One watch is one page, and a list is watched for its first page only. Add the pages that matter to you.
- Is this the same as competitive intelligence software?
- No. Those tools follow a company's news, hiring and ads for sales teams. Gairė watches the pages you choose on a rival's shop and tells you when a price, stock or list changes.
